As I watched her dance in the beauty of last night’s sky, the thought came to me: this is her everyday world. The glasses with which she filters her life.
For to her each new day is full of life and color. A fairytale to be experienced, one great hour after the next.
They may take ten hours to put on their shoes, and stop at every aisle on your way to simply grab milk. But why rush when there is so much to be experienced and felt?
So as I remember to be patient with each new moment, I also remind myself of her worldview. And I realize that patience isn’t just a virtue. Patience is actually stopping throughout the busy, to find the unmatched beauty of this everyday thing we call living.
