My Favorite Thing About Blogging

IMG_3809

Both my kids recovered from their illness (and my son’s seizure) last week. Just in time too, for the very day both fevers left we began our move. It wasn’t a far one, a literal 2 1/2 miles south in fact. A move is still a move though, and I have been swamped.

We are almost all settled in now! I am in love with the new place–thrilled–and trying really hard to not become some overly compulsive clean freak about it.

This is not about the move though, the seizure, the sick babies, or even this momma’s latest breakdown.

This is about you, my incredible readers. I can not even begin to express how much your words of support and love these past few weeks have meant to me. I was honestly blown away, at a lack for words (which is a huge one for me). I sat and read your heartfelt messages of strength, and I cried. Then, I smiled.

I know you not in person. I know so very little about your lives. We all face our own battles, but you were there for me during mine. A group of individuals who I will probably never speak with face to face. I felt your love, your strength, your prayers and well wishes.

Thank you.

It seems so inadequate to truly express how much your constant support means to me, but it is the barrier we will forever be fighting here. The war between how the heart breathes and the way we try to somehow articulate it.

I will try to articulate a bit deeper though: You Rock!!

Honestly, you really do. It is my favorite thing about this world of blogging: meeting people like you.

  1. Sasha,
I think our love for you is just a small reciprication of the love we have all individually felt from you. Thank you for sharing your open heart with us and letting us connect to you. You are truly one of a kind. And we are all thankful to know you, even if only through your words. P.S. I love the picture of you and Pierce!! It is not only a great picture of you guys, but a great picture of motherhood, and what it’s meant to be. 🙂

  3. 🙂 Support can be hard to find sometimes. Wonderful thing about blogging and reaching out on the web is there is a greater chance of finding people who understand your situation. So glad to hear your kiddos are better! 🙂

    2. AHHHHHH…I just re-read and wrote “here” rather than “hear”!! I cannot stand it…my Type A personality is squirming right now…..But all is well “here” and I am glad I can still “hear” at my age! Monday morning giggle. Today’s lesson to me…..proofread a little more carefully. Have a great day!

  6. I’m so glad your family is feeling better! I almost think moving just as couple miles would be more chaos for me because I would just quickly try to carry things down since its so close instead of thinking if I let something I couldn’t return to get it if it was an out of state move.

    1. Haha, we did get things over here pretty quickly! I still needed to do mostly boxes though because we threw everything on the back of my husband’s truck. I didn’t want to chance anything blowing away. 🙂
