  1. Happy five month anniversary! I’m actually surprised that you haven’t been blogging for longer. I guess you’re a natural! Here are my thoughts on your wonderful space: “Sasha is a caring mother and heartfelt writer whose words never fail to inspire. Her posts always make me stop and think!” Oh, and my blog address is blackbirdinblue.wordpress.com 🙂

Is that too short? Let me know! Have a lovely weekend 😉

        1. Torrie. Sorry, I didn’t realize when I set up this blog how much interaction was involved. So my name never got out there. Originally, I just set this up to appease my group, but it soon overtook me and I find even now, so busy with this move, just the reading of others’ blogs is more than I ever imagined. Anyway, now you have a name to go with the blog!

          1. Torrie, I LOVE it and so nice to know you by name now–I feel closer somehow! 🙂 Isn’t it funny how wonderfully addicting this thing becomes. I find I rarely go on any other forms of social media any more, for it is so much better reading all the beautiful pieces found here. Good luck with your move!!

  6. MomLife Now is a new favorite blog of mine. As a mom of two toddlers, I can relate to much of what Sasha shares about family life and being a mommy. I love how her character comes through in her writing. I have thought, while reading some of her posts, that she would be a fun person to go sit and drink coffee with.

  8. After reading only a couple of Sasha’s posts on MomLife Now, you’ll likely come to the same conclusion I did. Sasha is not a real woman. She’s probably a group of professionals: writers, poets, child psychologists and early childhood educators. I’m guessing they banded together over coffee or a couple of bottles of wine, and decided to put their collective wisdom and wit together in order to allow others to benefit from their years of experience. Clever stuff, but don’t be fooled. Chances are, you’ll get sucked in like I did.

  13. Wow this must have been an amazing experience for you, such wonderful feedback! Mom Life Now is one of the first blogs I came across after being off the blogosfeer for a couple of years and what a treat! I have read so many mommy blogs that concentrate on the negative tiredness and sacrifices of motherhood that i found it extremely refreshing to come across a mommy who loved life, loved her children and spoke with that love even when there are moments of sadness. I will continue to follow and enjoy your blog and urge others to take the time and read a minimum of two posts… they will be hooked after that!

One of my favorite posts is “Will the Real Mom Please Stand Up?” You are able to take a simple story like the Velveteen Rabbit and turn it into something so real that even adults can relate to. Cheers to you and to many more months and years of blogging!

“MomLife Now has been a great resource for me. I serve as the Pastor of Family Life for our church and I have encouraged dozens of moms to consider wise words from a timely article posted by Sasha. As a husband, I have forwarded Sasha’s articles to my wife numerous times for a word or encouragement or deep thought. Additionally, as a parent, I am personally blessed every time I read. I find MomLife Now to be biblical, timely, provocative, and as real as it gets.
